Hello,

I have 2 separate DirectAdmin installations.

server 1: mydomain.com with hostname server1.mydomain.com, 1 IP 1.1.1.1 (ns1, ns2)
server 2: mydomain.com with hostname server2.mydomain.com, 1 IP 2.2.2.2 (ns3, ns4)

I don't want to see SSL certificate error when login to directadmin
I have a working SSL certificate for www.mydomain.com.

server 1: https://www.mydomain.com:2222 > SSL No Problem

I just wonder how to setup SSL for server 2

Thank you.

@Ditto You see that has different hostnames :) So he must pay for two certificates. I see he will use same paied certificate on both servers.

I have not did it before, but suggest different ports =)

I don't see any point in using different ports since you cannot differentiate between DNS A records by port, and both your examples will go to the same machine.

Please explain.

Thanks.

Jeff

Also, using different ports on each server will create problems you can't solve if you are using a system like WHMCS.

Also, be sure to note that Certificates are generally sold on a per-system basis. So you may need to buy the Certificate for more than one system to be in compliance with their license.

We and others sell Secure Certificates from Globalsign, which come with a license for up to three servers.
