How to start?

Hi, i have just received a server and direct admin to it.
Well, many thing to learn...

Could any of you tell me how to start with it? Let say i have a domain abcdef.com and want to add it to direct admin, then change ns at registar and upload my content

(i have tried to do something and change a NS in godaddy.com but keep receiving error:

# Unavailable error in field Host name1
# Unavailable error in field Host name2

You can't change a domain to use a nameserver until after you create the nameserver.

Presuming the site for the nameserver is registered at GoDaddy, they'll be able to walk you through it if you call them.
