how to stop "delayed 24 hours" notification

Hi,

I sent an email a week ago and I am still getting the delayed 24 hours notification. There is no email in the exim queue

[root@web ~]# exim -bpc
0
[root@web ~]#


is there a way to disable this ? or at least remove the mailID from wherever it is being stored.

If there's no email in the queue then it's unlikely you're getting the email from your server. Check the headers to make sure it's coming from your server. If it is, then you may need to manually shell into your server and manually remove any files remaining in the queue directories.
