I have not updated in a while but I cannot find a general how-to for doing this. I know there is one because I have seen it before.
There should be something in the knowledge base about this but I did not see that either and most stuff in there if from before 2007.
Basically I need to update all the excluded packages that do not normally get updated.
/etc/yum.conf
exclude=apache* httpd* mod_* mysql* MySQL* da_* *ftp* exim* sendmail* php* named$
