So I'm a directadmin noob, so don't shoot me.

I have received directadmin login details from my client, because I need to whitelist my ip as it seems it's being blocked.
But I don't see any options to do that in the admin screen.
Could this be because this user isn't a admin/reseller level user?

Thank you!

I forgot to mention that I can't get in the FTP account.

Hello,

Directadmin has its own black- and white- lists to limit an access to the control panel Web-UI only. Directadmin does not offer Web-UI to manage it.

If you can't access FTP, (TCP:21) it might mean either firewall is blocking your IP, or FTP is disabled or moved to another port.

As for a firewall there might be raw iptables, fail2ban, csf/lfd installed. You need to check it out.

I know this is a necropost, but I'm just adding this here for my own book keeping, might help others. You can actually kind of manage this in DirectAdmin. In your dashboard click on "File Editor". It will give you a list of files. One of them is the whitelist file, and another the blacklist file. Click to edit, just paste your list, then save.
