howto change default (boring)HELO conversation?

Anybody an idea if this can be done with exim.
I like something like this:

>220 uxmail SMTP ready, Who are you gonna pretend to be today?
mail.jetair.be[194.78.34.81] connected
CMD: HELO intramanga-1
>250 uxmail Is thrilled beyond bladder control to meet intramanga-1
CMD: MAIL FROM: <[email protected]>
>250 sender is <[email protected]>, (yeah sure, it's probably forged)
CMD: RCPT TO: <[email protected]>
>250 recipient <[email protected]>, I know them! they'll just *LOVE* to hear from you!
CMD: DATA
>354 OK, fire away. End with <CRLF>.<CRLF>

eh, yes. Just have to remember how to do it. At least I think so. I used to remember how to do it within Sendmail.

It's in the source and you would have to rebuild it from the source.

For example:

http://sunsite.rediris.es/sites/ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/src/libexec/smtpd/src/smtpd.h

Of course that's for sendmail. I'm sure exim has it's own *.h files. Damn if I can find them right off though.

Try seeing if you can find Exim's sourse code and take a look. I don't have it install so I can't tell you.

hmm..

hmmm.. this seems to be more technical than I thought it would be ,
cannot find any exim.h file ,
seems that exim is been installed with da_exim-4.50-2.i386.rpm by DA.
thanks a lot for your time anyway , somebody might come up with a solution one day , it is not a must have , I just liked it

I'm sure there is an exim-src-*.rpm out there for you to look over.

Perhaps DA staff should publish their source RPM if they haven't already done so.
