Hello,

How do I disable HTTP compression for .zip files? Some of my customers get corrupted .zip files when they download something from the server with internet explorer

Microsoft says this:

To work around this problem, choose one of the following two options:
Option 1 - Disable HTTP compression for .ZIP files on the web server.
Option 2 - Change the MIME type for .ZIP files on the web server from application/x-zip-compressed to application/octet-stream.

It should be automatically disabled for zip files in /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-deflate.conf. If you want to completely disable the compression, then edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and comment out the following line (restart apache afterwards):
Code:
Include conf/extra/httpd-deflate.conf
