I need to to check for .ph domain availability but the whois URL provided by DA is http://www.domains.ph/WhoIs.asp?Domain= and it is not working. I try to check several domain and it says "UNAVAILABLE" even though it is.

How can i fix this?

DirectAdmin does not provide whois anywhere I've ever found. Some distributions install whois from the command line; it's used this way:

$ whois example.com
