Httpd.conf Customization

Hi all, i'm new here so be gentle!

I have to cusomize the httpd.conf.
But i do not no how it work.
I need to change the auto_prepend_file, the auto_append_file and the include_paths. I read i do not need <Virtualhost>..</VirtualHost>.
But do i just past:
php_admin_value auto_append_file '/home/user/domains/domain.nl/publik_html/ssi/append.php'
or something else?!

Please help!!

Your question really doesn't have anything to do with the DirectAdmin control panel. These forums are for help in running and maintaining the DirectAdmin Control Panel.

You can probably look up the configuration options you need in any good Apache documention (online or hardcopy) to learn where they go.
