Httpd problems after ip change

Hi there

I tryd to change some users ips but after i change the ip dns works ok io has changed but apache wont load the site correct if i do www.domain.com it only shows a white page and with domai.com i get a crappy version of the website
the website is a cms based website

Any one any ideas

its about 13 diffrent domains ill name a few horse-terra.nl radiozenders.org tinkerhengst.com the old ip = 84.243.238.204 and i want to change it to 84.243.238.240 i dont get any error only when the change is completed and the dns is resoleved apache wont load the websites like it should be

ps. all websites are now back on the old ip 84.243.238.204

Which of course means it's impossible to check to see what might be wrong.

So here's what was probably happening:

The CMS requires that it runs on a specific IP#.

Or the local DNS resolver on the server was still resolving to the wrong IP#.

Perhaps because you've got something listed in your /etc/hosts file on your server.
