httpd shutted down by itself

i have installed DA on debian 3.1
and httpd seems to shutt down by ifself
in logs
[Wed Jan 5 15:45:26 2005] [notice] Accept mutex: sysvsem (Default: sysvsem)
[Wed Jan 5 15:45:27 2005] [info] removed PID file /var/run/httpd.pid (pid=21228)
[Wed Jan 5 15:45:27 2005] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

and it doesnt start after it.

any clues how to prevent that ?
i know that da for debian isnt stable but all services works.

I have exactly the same problem on Debian 3.0.
I already reported this issue to support, so it already got their attention.

John told me to exchange the existing
/etc/init.d/httpd file with http://files.directadmin.com/services/customapache/httpd_debian
and worked for me !.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. However I was already using that exact initscript, so it doesn't work for me.
I still can't put my finger on what is sending the SIGTERM to apache.
