I do not recieve e-mails from messaging system

I have the problem that I do not recieve any e-mails from the messaging system.

For instance, when I create a backup, it says 'You will receive a message when it's complete.'

Well I never get a message.

Also, when I send a message to all users as an Reseller, no e-mails arrive...

E-mailadresses are correct for the users..

Anyone know how to solve this?
 
I noticed that only some e-mailaddresses do not work. Do these adressen have to be local adressen (managed by DirectAdmin)?
 
No they do not, but if the domains exist on your server but some other server is handling email, you need to disable email handling for the domain on your server (this has been covered in numerous previous posts).

Ok, I did two things:
- but `@server.domain.com` to the spamassassin whitelist
- changed my admin mail address to one that is handled by that server

Now it works. The previous e-mail address wasn't a domain that existed on the server.
