As the title says I get this error

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/nicsad/domains/updownloading.com/public_html/include/kernel/crontab.php on line 0"

when I try to access my site.

Please help.

The error accured after I "optimized" (yeah sure) Im killing my self, lol,
the file /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-mpm.conf
and restarted the server, I am on a dedicated server, Linux Centos 5 with DirecAdmin panel.

First it worked, there was no problem at all, then after 5-15 minutes I got the above error?

What is weird is that all other websites I have on the server works fine, its only this one which doesnt work: updownloading.com

What is more weird is that I can access this updownloading.com/imghost which is at the same server and all but updownloading.com gives error.

What is yet more weird is that if I upload a index.html file it is possible to access the it, but my problem is that my script use index.php???

Just to make it clear again, it worked perfect before and up until 5-15 minutes after I restarted, then I got the above mentioned error???

Please again help, I promise after this time I wont "optmizing" anything Why cant I just be satisfied and stop mendling with what I dont know.

I am in a position where I was promoting my site, so this is really hurting me.

Thanks in forward.

Best regards...

What does this file do?

/home/nicsad/domains/updownloading.com/public_html/include/kernel/crontab.php

Seems like your problem is that whatever it's doing it's taking more than 30 seconds to do it and you're calling it every time you access your website.

Regards,

Please anyone knows whats wrong with my site?

I have tried a new install of the website and script and it still dont work?

Im presuming the script you are using is a paid script ? and the licencing server is down maybe ? can you access the site you bought the script from ?

You are actually right, wow.

There website is accessible, but very slow, and there forum even more slower and sometimes it gives MySQL error or something like that.

If you just knew how long time I have tried to fix it, then at the same time as I read your message, I read in other forum, that it was because of the script developers server or something like that. All other websites using this script has the same error.

I must say I am very unlucky cause the error, happened right after I had changed the httpd-mpm.conf so I thought it was the changes I had made, that caused the errors, so I undid all the changes and i have not sleeped all night trying to solve this and changing this and that in the DirectAdmin settings :) and now I find out it was not even my mistake. It was because of the licensing server, lol :) I am so unlucky and stupid :)

I hope I have not done too much damage to the settings :) I will find out when the licensing server is up again :)

I dont know if I should cry or laugh :( :)

Oooh my goood, whyyyyyy

Is there any way to remove the "linking" to their server, so the site can work again, even though the licensing server is down?

I thank you very much for telling me this.

Best regards...

Who did you buy the script from?

Normally the code will be encoded so that no one can simply remove the reference to the licensing server so unless the program is not encoded you're out of luck nad will have to wait for them to fix their problems.

Regards,

Sorry I did not see that there was a reply :)

The problem is solved, I contacted the developers, and they told me how to fix it, it was something about deleting the content in prune.php.

Best regards...
