I'm confused, in another post you say you are using a DirectAdmin server.
If you're not, then we really cannot help you because we have no idea how your server is set up.

How did you fix it? I am having basically the same problem. I'm trying to install it on centos 5.2 and I get the following error:
make: *** No targets. Stop.
It was complaining that there was no Makefile,too at first, so I just created one... maybe I shouldn't have, but where it was giving two errors, it is only giving me one now.
I am doing all of this as the root user.
(I guess I don't have DA, either.
but if someone happens to know, I'd appreciate some advice, ty)
