Ummmm i accidentally killed my mail server and a few other things(shouldn't have tried anything while tired oh and slightly drunk lmao) is there anyway i can re-install DA without loosing my clients???
P.S. i can't find the original backup i made when i just installed DA
What exactly did you do? If you just kill'd the mail process, you should be able to just restart it. If you un-installed it, then you should just be able to redownload the exim from http://files.directadmin.com/services and re-install it. Same for any other services you may have deleted.
If DA does need to be re-installed, then you might have to manually update the /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/reseller.list
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/users.list
/etc/domains
/etc/domainowners
files.
I managed to get exim back i tried to re-install it and the install script kept erroring but i run the exim.sh script and that fixed it but i know i deleted the build.sh file from the custom apache folder. ather than that everything looks ok now excpt the vm-pop3d problem i have
