First off I am very new to this. I have access to Directadmin through my ISP. It is nothing I bought or downloaded. The webspace that my ISP provides with service comes with directadmin. I access it through the web Directadmin web control panel. The only problem I seem to be having is the fact that i cannot get webalizer to run. I have read through the threads, and I keep seeing run such and such from the command line. I don't know how to do that.

I keep getting this message:

File does not exist

Details

You must wait for the stats to be computed. This will only happen *after* logs exist (domain must resolve and be used)

I log in to driectadmin click statistics/logs click the domain name and that file does not exist message comes up. Could someone please tell me what I need to do in simple terms to get webalizer to work please. I don't know where I need to go to run anything from the command line. Please, Please help.

I think it's pretty much self explaination:

You must wait for the stats to be computed. This will only happen *after* logs exist (domain must resolve and be used)

Is your domain resolved yet? How long did you start the hosting site?

Maybe you should wait for 1 days first.

It's been running for over a year

I just now realized I could use Directadmin. A friend who is with the same ISP told me about it. It comes with my service. All other information is there such as disc usage, bandwidth, ftp, several other options as well. Only the webalizer doesn't work.

Casanova, you'll have to ask your ISP to help you, as neither we nor you can log in to the server to check on the problem.

But before you do make sure you've had at least one visitor to the site, and that you've waited at least 24 hours.

Thanks, ISP don't understand what I'm asking

Might have known they'd be a bunch of idiots. The site has been running for over a year now. I know I'm getting traffic because I am monitoring it with a javascript counter from Bravenet that show all the stats. I just don't understand why webalizer isn't working.

There are a few reasons why webalizer isn't working, and unless you have root access, there isn't much you can do. Your host should look in their log files (for directadmin), a common cause for webalizer not working is either it was never installed, or it could find all the shared libraries it needs. DA does supply a static version so the shared library problem won't happen.
