i uploaded my site but my home page can not be seen

hi
i uploaded my website files to public-html folder but still can not be seen my home page also when click on index.html on this folder the page that opens is empty but when i edit it isee everything is ok and html is correct
what is the cause of it
do i upload my web to other folder like domains/mysite/ public-html too or the the current folder is of public-html is enough ?

First of all, it's public_html, not public-html.

/home/<username>/public_html is just a link to the files in /home/<username>/domains/<domainame>/public_html

If you have more then one domain the /home/<username>/public_html may not be the same as /home/<username>/domains/<domainame>/public_html


If I were you I would just make sure that I upload to /home/<username>/domains/<domainame>/public_html
