Hi guyz,
I've done some reading but couldn't found what I was looking for. Since a few days i've been using the reseller option in DA and noticed that if you add a user they still have access to all options.

IMHO options that they don't have access to shouldn't be printed in their skin at all..

So I did some checking and the only post I saw about this was dated 2003/2004 where they spoke of in the near future and creating dynamic skins that will not show options if a user does not have access to them.

I wonder is this feature already implemented in DA? And if not will it be changed this year, or will it take several years?

I actually don't want to mess with the skins myself, but if there's no other way then i'll dive right into it..

:D

What version of DA are you running?

Are you a reseller or an administrator?

Jeff

I'm an administrator as well as reseller and i've updated my version of DA last night to 1.265.

:)

Which options? My recollection is that DA already does a lot of this already.

Jeff

Ehm.. Do you mean the admin settings? In that case:
On: Overselling: Allow Resellers to sell More features than they are allowed.
On: Suspend a Reseller and his Users when the Reseller goes over his Bandwidth limit.
On: Allow a Reseller to Backup/Restore his Users.(Seperate from User Backup/Restore)
On: Use the automatic updater to automatically get the lastest version of DirectAdmin.

The rest of the options are off, which are used for demo's and email to admins whenever a service goes down.

Or do you mean the reseller options?
In that case only PHP and Suspend at limit are checked all others are off.

Thanks for your help :)

Never mind, I had to download the new skins.. I figured that I got DA last year I would have the latest skins.. LOL..

Anyways thanks for your help though and pointing out that the changes had been made... :)

Now i've got a different problem though.. :(

I'm trying to login to DA though ip:2222 and get a 404 page not found.. Searched the forum but didn't find a solution yet.. :(

Seems that users are able to login normally, but me as admin gets a 404 page. :(

Hope someone can help me out to fix this problem though..

Problem solved too: Seems that after copying a complete dir the file: file_admin.conf was a goner.. And deleting some skins doesn't work properly. If I delete a skin the admin account gets a 404 on login.. :(
