IMAP server

Hello all,

i have some problems with IMAP. (Webmail)

ERROR

Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
61 : Connection refused

SSH:

telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

Operating system is FREEBSD.

Can someone help me?

You need to either allow those ports through your firewall or insure the servers are started.

If you are using vm-pop3d you need to make sure the inetd program is running.

ps xua | grep inetd

if it is not running do:

/usr/sbin/inetd

If you are using the dovecot program you need to insure dovecot is running.

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/dovecot restart

Problem has been solved with:

SSH:

/usr/sbin/inetd -wW
