imapd - Command stream end of file, while reading line user

Hi

I have difficulties with imapd. When the client connects by IMAP to one of his mailboxes, his mail client just hangs... With another mailbox on the system, the same mail clienst works absolutely fine...


In the maillog I see the following:


Command stream end of file, while reading line user=??? host=dslxxxxxxxx.fixip.t-online.hu [xx.xxx.xxx.xxx]


How can I update the imapd? Or is it something with the client??? Weird, as other clients work fine with the same account...

Have you converted to Dovecot? If not, then most likely the mbox file has an error in it which will have to be corrected with a text editor or by deleting it (deleting it will delete all email which hasn't been downloaded).

If you've converted to Dovecot then you should try deleting all the indexes and then again try to download the email. If that doesn't work then you may have to find and delete the bad email.
