For services like nginx you have included a good default cipherlist from the Mozilla SSL config generator - in /etc/nginx/nginx-defaults.conf:
However, DirectAdmin itself still uses a different cipherlist. This means that according to Google Chrome DirectAdmin uses an "obsolete" cipher list. You're probably familiar with notices such as this (random image):
It would be awesome if DirectAdmin had a strong ciphersuite by default for the DirectAdmin binary itself. It is possible to fix it by adding this line to /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf:
After that Chrome reports DirectAdmin as using a strong cipher suite. I'm not sure what the ssl_prefer_server_ciphers on equivelant is in DirectAdmin.
I think it would be a good thing if DirectAdmin included this config by default, instead of having to change it manually.
