Hello,

I am having a really strange problem. Only SOME of my domains can not receive e-mails, but they can send succesfully. For example xxx.com:

If i send mail from a domain hosted on my server to xxx.com, it is received succesfully (local transport). If i mail from gmail for example to [email protected] i get this error:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

[email protected]

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 13): 554 <[email protected]>: Relay access denied

But if it send a mail to a domain not hosted on a server it just goes successful. Also 95% of the other domains do not have this problem. Not using webmail, not using Outlook Express.. the dovecot log does say much nothing..

Anyone an idea? Using debian 4 (as far as it should matter)

For some reason your server thinks xxx.com isn't on your server.

xxx.com must have cost you a small fortune. Have you considered selling it so you could retire ;)?

Oh, you don't own it? Then of course it's not on your server :D.

My original point was that without real information there's nothing to test, so nothing to tell.
