Hi,

I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find the answer.
All mail is automatically being forwarded to a server admin domain.
i.e. [email protected] <[email protected]> F=<[email protected]> R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp S=3173

the mail was meant for: [email protected] and this exists on the server.

Help, as this is preventing any mail from getting to the user (and my personal mailbox to overrun with their mail!)

Thanks in advance :-)

HI,

No, it happens to all and nay account made on 2 different (but same config) machines.

Here is the sample:
The server is running on ip (for example) 01.01.01.01 and has the lastest DA as a fresh install last week.

Hope you can help :-)

Hi,

useraccount is a newly created useraccount (with ofcourse mail associated with it :-)).

/etc/aliases seems fine (and there is no reference to that account) and there isn't a .forward for that user ....

and I just tried mailing to the users real mail address ([email protected]) and the same thing happens!
All mail is stripped of the userdomain.ext and replaced with domain.info and the admin account used domain.com (e.g.)

Our main domain an company site uses domain.info but that is not on those servers at all!

Hey man, do we both speak English here? According to logs you've posted earlier an email for [email protected] gets into [email protected]. So I guess, you want to know why this happens, don't you? So I ask you the last time:

Does email address [email protected] exist in the account of useracc or not?! If it exists, then is it a forwarder or general email box?

What is your Catch-all settings? Don't just say

catch-all is set to that user

but show your Catch-all settings for the account.

Hi Alex,

I'm sorry if I don't seem to answer what you are asking for, but I'm pretty new to DA and I'm trying to answer precisly what you are asking for and giving you all info that I can that seems related :-)

I'll send you a PM to continue, ok? :-)

So, the reason consists of two facts:

1. Catch-All is enabled and it sends all emails to not-existing addresses to the default email account on the domain.
2. You don't have those email accounts, to which you send emails, so they get forwarded witch Catch-all.

So, you should create email accounts, and I'd recommend disabling Catch-All, that would help to get rid of SPAM on not-existing emails.
