Hi,

I have some problems with my server. Files larger than 100mb are always failed to be downloaded by my clients from my server. This has been a problem for quite sometime. It does not happen on the FTP nor other applications except on apache.

Does anyone have any idea or a solution on solving it ?
The httpd config etc are remained as default unmodified after installing DA.

Get a download manager capable of resuming, for example getright.

However, if you mean that file over 100mb won't even finish downloading with a manager (corrupted etc.) that's a different matter.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, however the problems occured on all kinds of download manager, I am on a high-speed connection even I am at the site of my server, I tried downloading the linux ISO file locally on a 100mbps network @ transfer speed 4mbps it will be terminated no matter what. I tried wget on another linux machine and it happens same. Weird problem

Are you saying that your having trouble with these large files downloading from the server or downloading to the server (i.e. You are on the server and downloading files to it, or it's a wget problem with your servers being unable to download files from external sources.)

Hi,

The problem faced was downloading files that are larger than 100mb from the server with directadmin will show either show a successful download (but only the partial of the data was downloaded) or you will faced a disconnect no matter what applications the client try to use to download the files from the server.
