index.html trouble

I have been working on changing the design of a client's page. When I try to upload the new index.html file, it won't show up without adding /index.html to the address. Any help is appreciated? Here are the two pages.

Exactly the same here.

I guess he fixed it........both work for me.

This can happen when the old index file is saved in the local cache.
