hi, can direct admin use only a sub-domain?
if for example, i have an acct that is a reseller acct?
and i give someone an end-user account for a site, if they do not have a domain name, can i just give them subdomain? ex. thiername.yahoo.com
the domain of subdomain will be hosted with my reseller acct. thank you.

Yes you can. But be aware that not all functions will work. For example your emails would be [email protected] ([email protected]) And of corse you need to host the domains on some dns server. But it is possible.

If you create the subdomain as if it were a domain, all functions should work, though as sce has posted, the email addresses will be as the post immediately above shows.

If the main domain is hosted on the same machine (and both main and sub domains are hosted on any slave servers) there shouldn't be any problems with DNS at all.
