Install bug cannot run apxs

Please help...


Perl is installed, not sure what to do.


Here is the error

Sorry, I cannot run apxs. Possible reasons follow:

1. Perl is not installed
2. apxs was not found. Try to pass the path using --with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs
3. Apache was not built using --enable-so (the apxs usage page is displayed)

The output of apxs follows:
./configure: line 6372: apxs: command not found
configure: error: Aborting

ls -l /usr/sbin/apxs
echo $PATH

Is apache installed on the system? Please check:

httpd -V

-bash: httpd: command not found

I thought Directadmin setup.sh would install. Whats my next step?

You should re-install DA if the installation failed. I guess you missed http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=354.

That was the issue.. I must have missed one of them. Then did a re-install and it works. Thanks!
