Did you look on the way to the web website. CSE I don’t think is supported on DirectAdmin.

If it is they have install process there.

Hi There,

CSE installation steps are -

To install or upgrade cse simply do the following from the root shell via SSH:

cd /usr/src
rm -fv /usr/src/cse.tgz
wget https://download.configserver.com/cse.tgz
tar -xzf cse.tgz
cd cse
sh install.sh
rm -Rfv /usr/src/cse*

I tried to do some path modifications and managed to install plugin but its says corrupted post install.

I believe if installation is done correctly it should work fine.

Thanks

It's designed for cPanel. But Configserver adjusted CSF too for DA (and some others) and even have a install.directadmin.sh script which automatically adds the plugin page to directadmin. We don't have to do anything for that.

So it might indeed go well if the installation script is adjusted a little bit. But I guess that request can best be made and the Configserver forums, as they created a working csf plugin for DA too.

Took a quick look at the script, it's only for cpanel. And was last updated in Jan/21/2019. Even their forum posts are mostly old for it (possibly not supported anymore). They would need to make a version that's compatible with DirectAdmin.

You dont need this anyway there is a file editor on both the Admin and user side.
Some times its pretty easy to browse in GUI and fix the settings for any user via CSE directly, It can be done via terminal but then again Web based GUI is what I prefer.

CSF and CXS scanner are also add-on product for cPanel/WHM, but they run fine in Direct Admin, its just a matter of priority when its made available to Direct Admin users.
