Hi,
after a period of directadmin use we decided to upgrade our web server hardware and freebsd version.
The licence is for FreeBSD 6.0 and the new operating system is 6.2
The original server is online (i have directadmin files, home dirs etc for backup to the new disks)
I thought of this scenario as the best way to have the less downtime :
- setup new os
- setup directadmin
- overwrite directadmin files from the backup of the old server
- shutdown the old server, copy home dirs and mail and start the new server.
The problem is that my setup.sh shows freebsd 6.2 version but must match my licence (6.1).
And how can i change my licence to the new os version?
If i change my licence to 6.2 will be possible for the old server to run until the new is ready?
