Hi

No modules at all are installed on my (virtual) server, so I wanted to install some, e.g. the LoadModule.

Via DirectAdmin, I can edit this files:

/etc/exim.conf
/etc/hosts.allow
/etc/hosts.deny
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
/etc/proftpd.conf
/etc/proftpd.vhosts.conf
/etc/ssh/sshd_config
/usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklist
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_whitelist
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/edit_files.txt
/usr/local/etc/php5/cgi/php.ini
/usr/local/lib/php.ini

I know people refer to the help.directadmin.com site, but I don't understand a thing from it. So anyone here who wants to help me out with a step-by-step instruction?

BTW: I have root acces and an SSH login, I don't know if that helps.

Thanks

You can't use DirectAdmin to manage apache modules. You'll need to read up on using CustomBuild and be willing to risk managing your server through a shell login. Or of course you can hire someone to install it for you.
