Hi all,

I just tried to install DirectAdmin on a clean CentOs 6 64 bit VPS but I am ending up with the following errors:

* All parts have been installed *

Type: /sbin/service httpd restart
./install.sh: ./directadmin: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
./install.sh: ./directadmin: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

* Cannot find /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf

I have googled around a bit and searched this forum but did not find any answers to why this is occurring... could anyone please shift me in the right direction on how to solve this.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Make sure your license matches the operating system you are installing on. You can login to the client section on directadmin.com to check.

Yes it should be correct.

I purchased the license from my vps provider so I cannot login anywhere and before bothering them I would like to try to fix it myself :)

Problem Solved... It all got to do with the wrong architecture being in the license. My vps provider messed this up. DirectAdmin support fixed the license, I reinstalled the vps, ran the DirectAdmin install and all went smooth.

So if you run into the same problems... contact DirectAdmin support and they will fix your license :)
