Hi Guys,
I am about to make my trip up to my datacenter and take my LIVE server down.
I surely hope everything goes well since I don't have another server up there as backup...
Would someone please give me a little input? I'd greatly appreciate it...
I'm a Gentoo Guru for years. But I need simplicity/automation and quick installs for disasters etc so, I'm switching to CentOS 5.1 x86_64/DirectAdmin...
I have 13 ips with about 5 sites dedicated...
2 are dns ips
.114 through .126
I use the first .114 and last .126 as my ns1 and ns2
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I've never used a control panel before. I hand edit every file in Gentoo...
I'm putting DirectAdmin on .115 with SSL...
Do I go in and add zones for my ns1 and ns2 just as I would a website domain in the Control Panel?
I'm about to finishup my backups and head up the road, it is about an hour drive...
I will be live on my laptop in the datacenter using 1 of my ips...
Any notes would help to make sure my transition goes smooth...
Thanks in advance,
Richard
