Hello,

I've struggled with installation for 2 days. Here is my server configuration:
- OS: CentOS 3.1 (Final)
- P4 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM
- 2x80GB IDE

I notice that all installations (I've tried at least 3 times, even re-installing the OS from scrath) stopped at 'Checking quotas...'.

All Checks have passed, continuing with install...

Then it stops, and suddenly it kicked me out of the shell. When I login again, the process is still there.

I traced the issue and it seems to be related to:
/usr/local/directadmin/dataskq
So, I tried running it manually and this is what I get:
[root@root scripts]# /usr/local/directadmin/dataskq
Unable to read config file. Check the file permissions

Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you,

Well, I guess I will answer my own problem here :)

It seems that the problem is not DA related, but could be hardware/OS related. I tried installing it via local console (i.e., hook up a monitor and keyboard directly into the server) and it worked. The only time when it failed is via ssh (which I don't know why).

After several days, I have not notice any instabilities and things have been rock solid.

Hope this can be helpful for some.
