Nice googling Jeff, but I don't get the link with DA. I think he meant XML but I'm not sure.

Actually we get xls files all the time from vendors in the VoIP field; it's how they send their pricing matrix; here in the US every city can be a different rate center.

Here's a Google search on how you'd set up PHP on your webhost server to create xls files, or to read them.
