Installation failed: unable to read directadmin.conf

Hello.
I'm trying to install DA but I'm getting:

fatal executing cli command error=unable to read config: open /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf: no such file or directory

This is a VPS running a fresh installation of AlmaLinux 8.3

Any idea what could be happening?

It won't fix your issue probably, but why are you installing on an old Alma version? There are multiple fixes in newer AlmalLinux versions.
Why not install AlmaLinux 8.5 or upgrade to 8.5 before installing DA?

Oke. Just to be sure, your license in the customer area is set to Centos 8?

Yes, at least that's what the provider says.

Please try re-running the installation, if it doesn't help, please try this before:

/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build update
