Hi all,

We did follow the Installatron installation guide for DirectAdmin, but the Installatron plugin is not showing up in DirectAdmin.
We didn't have this issue before, does anybody know why this is happening?

We also don't get any errors when installing Installatron:

Code:
Installatron Install & Repair Utility,
Rev. 3.1 (2021-03-30)

Internal PHP Binary: /usr/local/php84/bin/php
Detecting supported Fetch drivers...
 - Testing System CURL Binary /usr/bin/curl... working.
 - Testing System CURL Binary /bin/curl... working.
 - Testing PHP CURL Extension... working.

Choose a Fetch driver:
  [0] System CURL Binary /usr/bin/curl
  [1] System CURL Binary /bin/curl
  [2] PHP CURL Extension
Using: [0] System CURL Binary /usr/bin/curl

Thanks for your help!

I would maybe try contacting Installatron. Their support I've found is not very good though. I tried it out on one of my servers earlier in the year and decided it wasn't for me and stayed with Softaculous.

All I would suggest i you could try is restarting DirectAdmin after you've installed it, or look in the Plugins Manager section in your DA CP and see if it's active.

Bash:
#systemctl restart directadmin

We also had Installatron in the beginning, but discovered Softaculous is not only cheaper but also had way better support so we changed to Softaculous years ago.

Additional to the above post, you could try switching to Enhanced skin and see if it's visible there.

Its propably because of the changes in the last versions, how plugin GUIs are now displayed. Now they must open in new site, so far i understood. I guess Installatron would have to change their plugin accordingly. But its only a guess.

Beside that, i agree with Richard. Softaculous is much more advanced, has more CMS & Scripts included than Installatron, more functions for management and backups, and all under a nicer GUI. No need to pay both. Softaculous is also pretty cheap, and stable.
