Installing CuteNews

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section..)

I know this seems like a stupid thing to get stuck on, but I'm a bit confused with my installation of CuteNews. I've uploaded the zip file, and was going to CHMOD it, but I can't work out how to unzip the file? Whenever I click on it, it just pops up asking me if i want to "Save, open, etc.."

Please please please could somebody help me with unzipping the file. I would appreciate it SO MUCH. Thank you :]

Some possibilities:

• If you have SSH access and your server supports unzip, log into your shell account and cd to the directory with the file, then type "unzip filename".
• If cutenews is available as a tar.gz instead of zip, upload that instead and simply use the File Manager to extract the files.
• Unzip the files on your local computer and upload those instead of the zip.

And you can unzip them on your local computer and tar.gz them using 7-zip and then use File Manager.
