Installing Varnish 4 on CentOS 7

Hi there, i'm trying to install Varnish 4 on a CentOS 7 system, following this walkthrough: https://devops.profitbricks.com/tutorials/install-and-configure-varnish-with-apache-on-centos-7/.

Varnish seems to be working but when I visit the page I just see "Apache functioning normally". When I go to [siteUrl]:8080 i'm getting "connection refused".

It seems as if the port isn't forwarded correctly, is that something Direct Admin might cause? I don't know where to look anymore.

Any help would be appreciated!

Also, it might be worth mentioning that the site has a SSL certificate.

Are you sure the port 8080 is accessible from outside ?
In the tutorial I don't see any guide for firewall, I assume you should open port 8080 in firewall.
