Installing with customapache/custombuild

Hello,

We have an old php4 (apache 1.3) server and we like to change this with a php4 VPS. The php4 server was installed with customapache and dovecot is not installed on this server (because it did not exist at that moment).

We like to install a new VPS with only php4 (so suphp and no php5) on it, what is the best way to install DA so that we have the less problems to move the users from the server to the VPS system.
- Install the VPS with custombuild and dovecot not installed?
- Install the VPS with custombuild and dovecot installed?
- Install the VPS with customapache?

I forgot to tell that I want to have dovecot on the new VPS.
Do I need to update this after I transfert the accounts?
Or will DA change the users automaticly from non-dovecot to dovecot when I transfert them from the old to the new server?
