ip address of SMTP

Hello,

can I use a different ip address for the SMTP services? (the server is the same, I just want to change the IP address of use for SMTP)

Yes, you can add a line to exim.conf to tell it which IP# to use. Check your exim documentation.

Don't do this if your original IP# has been blocked because of spammers. If you do, you'll find your entire netblock will be blocked.
