IP address problem

When i create an account on my reseller package an email is sent to me automatically with all the details of the account.
The IP address of the company i bought the reseller package followed by :2222 is the link given to user to view their site until their domain is resolved.
How do i set this up to point to IP address showing my own website.

From the reseller level, add a new user. On the bottom of the form where the checkbox is to send a notification, click on the "Edit User Message" link.

You can do this when creating a reseller as well.

yes but how do i choose another IP address. There is only one IP address in the dropdown menu which says shared server

If you only have one shared address then you can't use it to look at your website. That's a limitation of how the http protocol works with name-based sites.

You can use something like:

http://12.34.56.78/~yourusername

if it works for you, or you can ask your provider for your own IP#.
