IP Allocation problems

Hi all, and some newbee questions:

I'm setting up multiple domains and I wish to allocate a different IP to each. I'm not finding an easy way to do this.

There seems to be no control over choosing or allocating IP addresses when adding domains.

Here is what I'm (generally) doing:

1. Adding my block of IPs (at Admin level) and 'sharing' them
2. Allocating some of these IPs to a Reseller

But after this, I'm at a dead end. Should there not be an option to select an IP address when adding a domain? If not, should there not be an option somewhere that can be used to change the IP address of an already added domain?

I've tried this and that and the other thing, but I'm just going round in circles

Can someone help please?

DA will auto assign a new reseller their IP address only if there are IP addresses listed as free. Clicking customize will offer you a dropdown list of all available IP addresses when you are creating the account. I jumped too soon and made all my IP addresses shared and had the same troubles you are having. It wasn't until I changed the IP address status back to free before things started falling into place.

Thanks for your quick reply, Travis-

Actually, (well, by sheer fluke,) I did not share *all* my IPs. Some are shared, some are free. Some of the free ones and some of the shared ones are owned by the Reseller.

When I create or modify the Releller's User data, I get a drop down box for selection of an IP address. While multiple IP addresses are listed in the drop down list, I can select *only* one of them.

My question is, should such an IP selection option not come up somewhere when adding or modifying a domain?

Although I haven't tried this, I guess if I were to go to
User Level > {Domain} > Domain Management
and modify the A record(s) by hand so as to point them to an IP address of my choice, it would do the trick.

Any thoughts appreciated.
