IP Assignment

I'm sorry if this has been posted before -- I did try and search here and through google for relevant topics.

My question would seemingly be simple: I have DA configured on a dedicated server with 8 IPs and 1 IP that is for "management" use and per my hosting company should not be used for production. While setting some domains up through my own 'reseller' account, I didn't think of this and added the domains as the management IP.

I've since added the other 8 IPs to the admin-level panel, and assigned one to my given reseller account; however, ALL of my domains still reflect the old management IP (and the IP assignment shows that ip with '10 users' (type=server) while the new, correct one with 0).

Is there a quick and easy way to change the IP for these domains to the right one without manually editing every one or editing the config files ?

A quick sed through httpd.conf would obviously be the fastest way, but I doubt DA would not hose that the next time I edit something in there-- and new domains come up as the old IP, too.

It'd be nice if DA would either 1) let me edit the files manually w/o hosing it next time or 2) provide a mechanism for (automatically?) updating the DNS for a given (or set) of domains instead of (evidently?) forcing me to edit them each manually .. which, through the interface, honestly, is a PITA.

BTW, I just noticed the 'ipswap.sh' script .. but it seems like that will swap more than what I want to do -- (like give me two entries for the same IP in /etc/httpd/conf/ips.conf for 'newip' since it already exists there before running the script .. altho the bind swap would work fine as long as DA wouldnt hose the changes later :D)

Any ideas?

Thanks..

Hah. Nevermind.

I guess I didnt search hard enough

For anyone else, you just have to use 'show all users', click the specific reseller account w/ the domains and set the right IP. LOL. I knew it had to be simple ;)

Of course what your hosting company didn't tell you is they made that requirement themselves. There's no reason why you can't use that IP#... unless they're thinking they might want to change it at will or something.
