Hi DA Community,

Today we received a log as follows:

2007:12:04-15:15:43: 216.31.10.200 has tried to log in 10 times, unsuccessfully, this time into admin's account ***

Is there the possibility to somewhere, reduce the failed login attempts to 2 instead of 10? Or better yet, to restrict certain usernames to log in from certain IPs only? That way, we could for example, restrict the admin login, to our company's IP blocks only.

Appreciated.

At the admin level panel, click on administrator settings. Down that page you should see an option to blacklist IPs for excessive login attempts. Check the box and enter the number of login attempts you want. Hope this helps.

Thanks! It was unchecked and set to 100! Sure glad it blocked at 10!

No means to restrict admin login to a particular IP, or IP block in this case?
