IP mistakenly assigned to a User now DA doesn't load

My VPS recently underwent an IP change and I was having problem resolving my domains to the new IP. I was tampering with IP setting and I mistakenly assigned the new server IP to a single user.
After rebooting upon entering the IP address I get the user page instead of the message "Apache is functioning normally" and when I go to the 2222 port I get "Unable to connect" error from my browser.

Now I only have the ssh to work with and am wondering how to fix it from there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you check the link or not? You should follow all the steps, and request an IP change in license.

I checked the link. But it doesn't have to do anything with my problem.
DA was having no problem loading with the new IP until I assigned it to a user.
 
What you see in /var/log/directadmin/error.log ?

After checking the file you mentioned I figured you were right. The license was not valid for the new IP. I'd assumed that the VPS company had done all the steps to renew the license for the server.

Anyhow my problem is now fixed. I thank you sir for your help.
