IP range in blocked_ips.txt

Hello, i have enabled the brute force mode mode with blocking of ip adresses.
Last night i got ddossed again by bingbot and i would like ot know if i can enter ip ranges in the blocked_ips.txt file and what is the format.

If have tried this, but it didn't work


157.54.0.0-157.60.255.255=dateblocked=1402836183
65.52.0.1-65.55.255.254=dateblocked=1402836183
207.44.0.1-207.47.255.254=dateblocked=1402836183
192.114.64.1-192.114.79.254=dateblocked=1402836183
124.238.128.1-124.238.255.254=dateblocked=1402836183

I don't know if this will work or not, but usually firewalls use Classless Inter Domain Routing notation (CIDR) (wikipedia.org).
