Is DA resource intensive?

Does Directadmin use a lot of resources on the server?

I have it installed but am a little worried that it will slow down the machine as it will be running on a machine with multiple sites each using a very resource intensive CMS.

Is there any ways to reduce DA's resource usage?
Can I disable unneeded services?

DirectAdmin itself is written in C++ and has an extremely small footprint. You can disable unneeded services as long as you're sure they're unneeded. See the DA service monitor from the main DA login.

Or for other services not listed there, use your OS Distribution's method for disabling them.
