Is it possible to have DA accessed as a folder?

www.myhost.com:2222 cannot be accessed from my work cos of firwalls. In fact, it only allows web port:80, ftp:21 .
It does not allow ssh port 22.

In Webmin, you can set it up under apache inside a folder.
So, no one needs to access webmin on www.myhost.com:10000
You can access it like www.myhost.com/webmin and then firewall has no problem.

Yes, webmin and DirectAdmin can be installed on the same server.

DirectAdmin has previously posted that they don't support systems using webmin.

There's no other reason to not use webmin as long as you use it with as much discretion as you use the shell.

Otherwise you could break things.

How does webmin work as a folder? I presume it's still running as it's own browser, and two browsers can't run on the same port.

So I'm presuming there's some kind of tunneling going on.

Find out and let us know .

Have you tried changing Directadmin to use port 8080, which should work; I don't know of any ISP blocking port 8080.
