Is it safe to remove .tar.gz files from custombuild directory

I found the answer to this question a long time ago, but I've since forgotten it. Is it safe to remove all .tar.gz files generated by CustomBuild, as shown below?

I've also noticed that DA now creates a cache folder that can be cleared using the `da build clean` command. However, this command did not clear the files mentioned above. Could it be that these files are from an older version of custombuild and won't get removed?

Could be either older versions of custombuild or packed versions of currently installed packages.
You can safely remove them as they are only .tar.gz files so packed files. If DA needs them again, they will just be downloaded again.
