We have a shared hosting server which customized with CB 1.2. Now we would like to use PHP as fastCGI and it is possible whit CB 2.0 easily.

Is it safe to upgrade our CB and build all again?

we have apache 2.4 and php 5.3.23 installed. with nginx reserve proxy enabled. memcached, mpm worker are working too.

If you don't need than don't change. IMHO is still beta and have some issues. Read this subforum.
 
IMHO means In my humble opinion. User explosive is pointing out tht in his humble opinion, CustomBuild version 2 is still in beta and still has some issues.
